Become a Monthly Donor
Maximize your impact and make an ongoing investment in our mission.
With your support, Heritage Toronto is building a better city by bringing people together to explore Toronto’s shared past and peoples’ lived experiences. Every dollar counts and we are committed to making the most of your donation. Become a monthly donor and maximize your impact.
Committing to a monthly gift is an effective and rewarding way to:
Amplify your impact
Monthly gifts reduce marketing and administrative costs, so more of your donation goes directly to programming. The reliability of your gift also means that we can more effectively plan future projects, expand programming, and introduce new initiatives.
Stay in the loop
As a monthly donor, you will receive updates how you want them. This could be through our e-news, email, mail, or over the phone. You will also be first to receive copies of the annual Tours brochure and Heritage Toronto’s Annual Report.
Making giving simple
Setting up a monthly gift only takes a minute, then the process is automated for the length of your commitment. In January, we will send you a consolidated charitable receipt, making tracking your giving and filing your taxes simple.
Join the community
As a monthly donor, you are part of a group of passionate heritage supporters. You will have access to exclusive donor events, like private tours. Donors who commit to a monthly gift of $200 or more are recognized in Heritage Toronto’s Annual Report and on our website.

The Equity Heritage Initiative will create space and provide meaningful support for emerging historians representing important lived experiences in our communities, to diversify and shape how we tell Toronto’s stories.
Emerging Historians are current students, recent graduates, and emerging professionals in the first five years of building their careers. If you self-identify as any of these, we invite you to join our Emerging Historians team!
Join us in Little Jamaica for a heritage treasure hunt like never before. Uncover the vibrant history of this Caribbean community through food, music and the stories of the people who have lived and worked in the neighborhood.
