They are a direct link to Toronto’s history given that Marshall McLuhan lived in this city for many years, as a member of the faculty at the University of St. Michael’s College, University of Toronto. His legacy continues in the city today with the McLuhan Institute devoted to the ongoing examination of media and culture.
