David McPherson: Music has been the elixir of David’s life since he attended his first concert, the Who, in 1989, and bought his first LP, Freeze Frame by the J. Geils Band. David’s first book Legendary Horseshoe Tavern: A Complete History chronicles the life of one of Toronto’s oldest bars. A current contributor to Words & Music, Amplify, Canadian Cycling and Grammy.com, David has also written for Zoomer, the Globe and Mail, Paste, American Songwriter, Bluegrass Unlimited, and Canadian Musician. David is a freelance writer and corporate communicator. He lives in Waterloo, Ontario.
