The longest running program of its kind in Canada, the Heritage Toronto Awards brings together leaders and emerging professionals from across cultural, development, and public sectors to celebrate outstanding achievements in preserving and promoting Toronto’s heritage.
Since 1974, we have celebrated individuals, organizations, and the projects they create in order to champion the importance of heritage to city building.
While we are excited to gather people virtually, in the past, this event served as Heritage Toronto’s major fundraiser of the year. In lieu of a ticket fee in 2021, participants are asked to consider making a donation to support our public programs.

The Awards event has been Heritage Toronto’s primary fundraiser, providing critical support to our core programs, including Tours, Plaques, and Emerging Historians.
