Immerse yourself in the history of the beautiful Scarborough Bluffs, one of the most significant geological features in Toronto. On this walk, we’ll travel thousands of years exploring the area’s lengthy Indigenous history evidenced by the oldest artifacts found in all of Toronto; its unique ecology, including the presence of three endangered bat species; and its heydey as a resort and recreation destination.
This Heritage Toronto tour runs rain or shine and lasts approximately 90 minutes. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and consider bringing sunscreen and water to make your tour as enjoyable as possible.
This tour is provided for $8.00/person. The total cost is $9.85 (includes a $1.85 transaction fee). Please note that space is limited on our tours. You may not be able to join a tour group if you have not registered ahead of time through our website (see below).
If you share our passion for accessible and inclusive heritage programming, we invite you to make a donation while on the tour to help fund one of our next walks. Tour volunteers are equipped to accept both cash and contactless donations, and gifts of $20+ will receive a charitable tax receipt.
This tour is approximately 1.2 kilometres in distance and takes place predominantly on unpaved paths and nature trails. Please note that the trail may not be fully accessible to those using mobility devices.

Look for our volunteers in white t-shirts and our Heritage Toronto white flag.
For over 25 years we have been touring through the city with groups, learning some fun facts, little-known stories, and about the amazing people that have contributed to Toronto's heritage.
Many of our tours are developed and led by those who are part of our Emerging Historians program.
